1. The "Local-First" Promise

UnCloud is engineered with a strict Zero-Knowledge architecture. All file processing, conversion, encryption, and analysis happens exclusively within your web browser's memory using WebAssembly and HTML5 APIs.

We do not have servers that process your files. Your data never leaves your device.

2. Data Collection

Since we do not operate backend servers for file processing, we cannot collect:

Your uploaded files
Your generated passwords or keys
Your location data
Your IP address (logs are not kept)

3. Local Storage

Some tools may use your browser's localStorage or IndexedDB to save your preferences (like dark mode or recent settings). This data remains on your device and can be cleared by you at any time.

4. External Services

This application is hosted on a static Content Delivery Network (CDN). The CDN provider may log basic access requests (IP address, User Agent) for security and DDoS protection purposes.
